Transcriba vs Tactiq

Both transcribe without a bot in the call. The difference is what happens after the call — and what’s locked behind the expensive plan.

What they do the same

Tactiq and Transcriba start from the same idea: transcribe the meeting without adding an extra participant to the call. Both run as a Chrome extension and neither shows up in the participant list.

After the call, both generate an AI summary and action items on the paid plans, and both let you chat with the transcript instead of re-reading it.

Where Transcriba is different

The agent does the work after the call. Tactiq stops at the summary — you read it and rewrite it into the board, the CRM, the email. In Transcriba, Copilot already drafts the cards and you approve them on a screen; Copilot+ pushes to the board and CRM without you re-approving one by one; Autopilot closes the loop. That’s the underlying difference.

MCP access in the entry plan. Using your meetings from inside Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client — search, ask, generate a summary — is in Copilot, at R$39/mo. On Tactiq the same access is on the Business plan, from R$120 per user/mo, and still marked as beta.

Where Tactiq has the edge

Tactiq has more road behind it: a large user base, a bigger catalog of ready integrations (Notion, Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce) and a library of prompt templates. If your workflow depends on a specific integration Tactiq already has and Transcriba doesn’t yet (today it’s Jira and Linear), that matters.

What neither does

In-person meetings, loose audio recording, calls outside Meet and Teams. Both work on the video meeting of those platforms in desktop Chrome. For an in-person consultation or imported audio, neither serves.
